What is Phonevite To Go and how does it work?

Phonevite To Go allows you to use the Phonevite service without the need of a computer and internet connection.


Instead of using the computer to send a Phonevite, you just call a pre-assigned Phonevite To Go toll-free number from any of your Verified Phone Caller ID numbers and record a message at the prompt. This message then gets sent to the contact group associated with the pre-assigned Phonevite To Go number.


To assign a Phonevite To Go number to a Phone Group, from the Phone Book, click on the drop down menu for that Phone Group and select Setup To Go Number:

You will be asked to confirm the Phonevite To Go number assignment for that Phone Group:

You will then be assigned a To Go number for that Phone Group:

We recommend you save this Phonevite To Go number in your Verified Smartphone (i.e. smartphone with number set as Phonevite Verified Caller ID).


The Phonevite system will then identify your account based on your Verified Caller ID, capture your recording and send the message to the pre-assigned Phone Group based on the Phonevite To Go Number you call.


If you want another number (other than your Verified Smartphone number) to show up on the recipient's Caller ID screen, simply set another Verified Caller ID or Premium Caller ID as the Primary Caller ID. The recipients in your Phonevite To Go pre-assigned Phone Group will then see the Primary Caller ID.


Each Phonevite account is allowed up to 15 To Go numbers.
