Why are my calls being labeled as Spam Call, Scam Likely or other similar language?
The "Spam Call", "Scam Likely", or other similar label is being applied by the phone carrier and/or the phone device manufacturer. Increasingly, phone carriers and phone device manufacturers are collecting data and developing algorithms to reduce unsolicited calls and potential spam/scam calls. However, these processes are not perfect and so legitimate calls end up being mislabelled too.
We suspect that phone numbers have a higher likelihood of being mislabelled if several recipients report the call they receive as a junk call through their phone device.
To reduce the likelihood of your number being mislabelled as "spam call" or "scam likely" (or, other similar message), please make sure that calls are made to phone numbers that have an established relationship with you, that there is prior consent for these calls, and that the messages you send are relevant to the recipient. In addition, we recommend that the calls be spread over a period of time (e.g. you can use the "Call Spread" feature under the Options in the Send Phonevite page).
