Why do I see Phonevite's number instead of my Caller ID when I send a message?

All your Phonevite call recipients will see your selected Verified Caller ID or Primary Caller ID (in the case of Phonevite To Go calls) except for the phone number that is the same as the Verified Caller ID or Primary Caller ID (in the case of Phonevite To Go calls). In those cases, you will see the Caller ID of Phonevite (starting with a 408 area code). This switching of Caller IDs is made because phone network carriers cannot make sense of a number calling itself.
